Рождество Христово. Ранняя литургия в 7:30 ч. утра, поздняя архиерейская – в 9:30 час. утра.

В пятницу 23 сентября исполняется 11-я годовщина со дня кончины приснопамятного архиепископа Западно-Американского и Сан-Францисского Антония (Медведева). В день годовщины Владыки Антония в  кафедральном соборе панихида по владыке Антонию будет отслужена в 7 часов вечера.

The 11th anniversary of Archbishop Anthony (Medvedev) of Western America and San Francisco's repose will fall on Friday, September 23. A Panikhida for him will be served at the Holy Virgin Cathedral in San Francisco at 7:00 pm.

Праздник св. Иоанна.
В этом году праздник святителя Иоанна, Шанхайского и Сан-Францисского чудотворца будет отмечаться в субботу 2 июля.
Всенощное бдение в пятницу 1 июля в 6 час. веч. (исповедь с 5 час.
веч.), а литургия 2 июля в 9 час. утра.
В четверг 30 июня в 7:30 часов вечера в кафедарльном соборе будет отслужен Акафист св. Иоанну (Максимовичу) перед его святыми мощами.
В нынешнем году отмечается 45-летие со дня кончины Владыки.

St. John’s Day.
St. John's feastday will be celebrated on Saturday, July 2.
This year we will be marking the 45th anniversary of Vladika John’s blessed
repose. The Vigil on July 1 is scheduled for 6:00 pm and Liturgy on July 2 at 9:00 am.

An Akathist to St. John before his holy relics will be chanted on
Thursday, June 30 at 7:30 pm.

Traditional Pilgrimage and Picnic at Fort Ross.

This year’s Pilgrimage to Fort Ross is especially important to all who cherish the Russian heritage. During the course of the next year, we are preparing a number of activities to celebrate the 200 Years of Fort Ross, including monthly lectures on the history, significance and heritage of Fort Ross. These lectures will be held both at Fort Ross and San Francisco.

Fort Ross was founded by the Russian-American Company in 1812.  Currently, Fort Ross is administered by California State Park & Recreation Administration.

In view of the economic crisis, the administration of the California State Parks and Recreation found it necessary to hold Fort Ross closed to visitors on weekdays, and only due to our Traditional Pilgrimage and Picnic will Fort Ross be open on Monday, 30 May. Our attendance at Fort Ross may play a role in the fate of the operating mode of this corner of Russia. Therefore, Each of Us and Our Presence has a special significance this year.

On Monday, May 30, 2011 (Memorial Day) we will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at 9:00 am. After the Liturgy, there will be a procession to the cemetery where our countrymen are buried, as well as local and Alaskan natives that had converted to Orthodoxy while working at Fort Ross and ended their earthly journey in this small corner of Russia. After the procession, we will have a picnic lunch available for $12. The St. Petersburg Men's Ensemble will entertain us with spiritual and folk songs.
